Women Entrepreneurs in Nigeria

Check out the Bkids stand at the Women Entrepreneurs in Nigeria exhibition sponsored by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association  (NECA) and organised by NNEW (NECA's Network of Entrepreneurial Women).

The exhibition will run for 2 days, Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th November 2009 from 9am till 5pm on both days. The venue is NECA's Secretariat, NECA House, Plot A2, Hakeem Balogun Way, CBD, Alausa, Ikeja. Lagos (beside Hallmark School).

Come and shop for Christmas, come and support our women entrepreneurs, come and support made - in - Nigeria goods.

NNEW is a great avenue that provides support, encouragement, advice and help for women engaged in all kinds of business activities, whether self employed or working for someone else. They also conduct straight-forward, practical and easy to grasp trainings on writing a business plan, improving your business and so on. If you are in business or thinking of starting one, I'd encourage you to come on board. It's worth your while.I've posted a link on my blog (see my links in the side column).

Needless to say, I am a proud member of the network. Someday I'll share my story.

Bkids will be participating in this mega-cool exhibition. You don't want to miss this one....

Beauty and the Feast is a fashion and beauty exhibition. It is a gathering of the most outstanding, unrivalled, style-imbued designers, fashion icons and beauty professionals under one roof to showcase the effulgence of Nigerian Fashion. Prices would be slashed, free beauty consultation for skin , hair and makeup. Something for the guys, babes and even family (as there will be a top kiddies fashion designer).

It is a one day exhibition taking place at the Coral Reef hall on Ikoya Avenue in Ikoyi on Sunday 11th Oct 2009.
